Galadriel is ready for battle. … Because seriously? Going through the Hobbit again, I only just realized that since she is in the council, that means she was there when they drove the Necromancer out of Dol Guldur.  Of course she would need some slightly more practical and weapon-repellant clothing than her usual crazy mile-long dresses (but no less fabulous). Also, Cate Blanchett should definitely get to do sword-fighting, and wear an armor.
